Saw II

My movie review of Saw II. First the trailers: Underworld: Evolution. Looks very promising, I am excited to see it and hope it meets my expectations. The Ringer with Johnny Knoxville looks fucking hilarious. Final Destination 3 looks as good as the first and hopefully better than the second. Hostel based on true events, produced by Quentin Tarantino (need I say more) looks fucking fantastic can’t wait to see it. Now on with the movie…It had me sucked in from the beginning same as the first movie. Very fast paced and enthralling. The storyline was awesome and the twists at the end were fantastic. I don’t want to give anything away to those who have not seen it. I recommend you see it for yourself. If you liked the first one you’ll like this one as well, it is just as good as the first.

I was reading profiles today and all I can say is get a DICTIONARY. Why do spelling errors bother me so much? Must be my OCD taking over! If you don't have a dictionary handy, go to dictionary.com. Or type your profile in a word program and use spell check. While we're on the subject check your grammar. Thank you for listening to me rant!!!!

The Crue

I went to Motley Crue Carnival of SIN show last night. It fuckin rocked, that is until Tommy Lee got burned and had to be rushed to the hospital. A pyro stunt gone wrong. Except for that, I had a fuckin blast. One of the best shows I've seen in awhile.

Excerpt from the newspaper:

A pyrotechnic stunt gone wrong apparently injured Tommy Lee, Motley Crue drummer, during the group's Carnival of Sins show Wednesday night at the Casper Events Center.

"He was on the right hand side of the stage," Del Kinswoman said, "with a drum and a bell. The lights went out and Roman candles went off, and someone said, 'Shit, Shit.'" She and her husband, Eddie, an advertising photographer for the Star-Tribune, reported that Lee had been taken to a hospital by ambulance. That report could not be confirmed late Wednesday night.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. near the end of the show. "There were a whole bunch of sparks flying back and forth, lots of lights on the audience, really bright, so it was hard to see exactly what was going on," said Tom Morton, a Star-Tribune reporter who attended the concert. He compared the sparks to ones you'd get from a grinding wheel. Lee had been hoisted on a wire and was swinging back and forth between several drum sets perched several feet above the stage.

Band member Vince Neil came onto the stage and said the band couldn't perform an encore because Lee was injured and needed medical attention.

Kathy Woodward, from the Wyoming Medical Center, could give out only the number for the band's publicist, who could not be reached at press time.

Updated story:

Tommy Lee -- rock drummer, ex-husband of Pamela Anderson and star of NBC's "Tommy Lee Goes to College" -- has apparently been released from the Wyoming Medical Center after suffering burns from a pyrotechnic display during a show Wednesday night at the Casper Events Center.

Hospital spokesman Mike Phillips said there was no Tommy Lee in the Medical Center Thursday morning.

Motley Crue told the Bismarck, N.D., Civic Center they would play as planned Friday night, said Bismarck Civic Center Marketing Director Ross Horner.

"Our official word we just received this morning is he has been released from the hospital and is on his way here," Horner said Thursday. "We are just telling people the show will go on."

The Crue is expected to play Rapid City on Saturday and Sioux City, Iowa, on Sunday, then take a month-long break before touring Japan and Australia, according to their Web site, www.motley.com.
